Toronto FC manager Greg Vanney told local media today that the Canadian-born defender has been sold to a club in Cyprus or a club in Europe, but hes with us for an indefinite amount of time. The deal reportedly happened earlier in the season, agreed upon by Henrys representatives, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment CEO Tim Leiweke and independent soccer figure Kia Joorabchian. Henry has been on loan to Toronto FC ever since the deal. Joorabchian is not an official soccer agent but has been linked with some large European transfers in the past, including Carlos Tevez move to Manchester United in 2007. Henry, 21, has spent his entire professional career with Toronto FC. He joined the club in 2010 upon graduation from the TFC Academy. Originally from Brampton, Ont, Henry has appeared in 69 games with FC to date in addition to earning 12 caps with the Canadian national team. His lone goal for TFC came during the 2012 campaign.
