Back when the event was named the Buick Invitational, Woods won six times, including a stretch of four straight victories from 2005-08. After the events name changed to the Farmers Insurance Open in 2010, Woods added one more win in 2013. Woods made his return to competition in early December at the Hero World Challenge, an unofficial event that he also hosts, where the 39-year-old finished tied for last in an 18-player field.
